Installation planning should begin before site work starts. The machine dimensions describe the equipment, while the installation layout must also allow for its movement, material handling and maintenance access.

Allow space for operation and handling

Allow for the machine’s full operating envelope, trolley travel, block loading, maintenance access and lifting equipment. Electrical cabinets, water systems and drainage also need space. Overall machine dimensions alone are not an installation layout. Send a factory drawing showing column positions, clear height and access routes so that the proposed arrangement can be assessed.

Prepare the foundation and utilities

Plan the foundation, electrical supply and grounding, cooling-water supply, slurry handling and block-lifting equipment around the selected machine. Foundation dimensions and load requirements must follow the project installation drawing. Confirm utility requirements before site preparation, and have the foundation and electrical work completed by qualified local professionals using the approved project documents.

Share a usable factory drawing

Show column positions, clear height, access routes, lifting arrangements and the intended machine position. Identify nearby equipment and the proposed locations of electrical cabinets, water supply and drainage. Stonewin can then review the proposed arrangement against the selected machine.

Confirm readiness before commissioning

Coordinate the site preparation with the agreed delivery and service arrangements. Resolve layout or utility differences before installation begins.
